For the past ten years, at the end of the year, Lucky Boys Confusion puts together a few shows called Songs From A Scene. They invite some popular locals from the year to play… it’s a big tradition in the local scene, and it’s always interesting to see the line-up. This year was the last year it was being done, so, to celebrate, they brought back some bands that played the first few years. Even though most of the bands had been broken up, they reunited for one night, which made the show pretty epic.
I had to start editing with The Dog & Everything’s set. Not only the band that I pretty much learned photography on, they have the distinction of the band I’ve seen most times live, as well as being very good friends of mine to this day. Oh, the stories I could tell of tours and backstage antics, but I’ll save that for later. Even though the line-up was not completely original, it was amazing to once again hear the songs that I heard live every weekend for several years. It was made even better by having my old school concert buddies right next to me singing along as we did when we were 21.
